Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• One year general radiographic experience required.
• One year CT experience required.
• ARRT certification required upon hire.
• ARRT-CT certification required.
• Licensed Radiologic Technologist in NYS required upon hire.
• BLS certification within 90 days required.
• IV contrast certification/training available onsite within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner to produce cross-sectional radiographs.
• Administer IV/oral contrast as ordered.
• Position patient and determine suitable anatomical posture.
• Ensure exam quality and review images for radiologist interpretation.
• Adhere to ALARA and radiation safety requirements.
• Maintain equipment and room readiness and complete hand-offs.
• Complete all required documentation and participate in department meetings.
