Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.

The role involves preparing patients, ensuring safety by following ALARA principles, verifying image quality, and assisting licensed practitioners with interventional procedures. The technologist must ensure proper patient identification, documentation, and adherence to federal and state regulations. They will also educate and monitor students and healthcare providers as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required; new graduates must obtain certification prior to employment.
• Experience in radiologic technology and knowledge of imaging protocols.
