Azza HealthCare Agency is seeking a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures, while ensuring patient safety and image quality.

The role involves preparing patients, following imaging protocols, and assisting with interventional CT under supervision, all within ALARA guidelines. A radiologic technology program graduate is required, with a bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification prior to starting.
• Ability to perform or assist in advanced imaging procedures, evaluate images, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Educational requirement: Graduate from a radiologic technology training program; a related bachelor's degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct orders, identify and prepare patients, and document clinical history while maintaining confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to minimize exposure.
• Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data storage and transfer.
• Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist licensed practitioners with interventional CT procedures.
• Perform prescribed CT procedures in a clinical environment, ensuring compliance with policies and safety standards.
