Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification as appropriate.
• State radiography/nuclear medicine licensure required for AZ/WY/NV.
• ARRT CT certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform procedures per orders and department policies.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Produce high quality images and maintain documentation.
• Competence in invasive/interventional procedures if applicable.
• Perform quality control on equipment and ensure safety.
• Maintain confidentiality and ethical responsibilities.
• Ensure smooth department workflow and inventory.
• Independently perform prescribed procedures for patients.
