Job summary

Banner Health's Banner Desert Medical Center in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a variety of CT examinations for emergency, inpatient, trauma, and routine patients. You will collaborate with radiologists, ED staff, nurses, and providers to ensure timely patient care, with a night schedule and call shifts.

Requirements include ARRT or NMTCB certification, state licensure for AZ, and ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) certification within 18 months of hire; BLS is required.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• National Certification required from ARRT or NMTCB.
• State Licensure for AZ/WY/NV; CT licensing prior to hire.
• ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT) advanced certification within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT procedures per department policies and orders.
• Educate patients about procedures and address questions.
• Produce high-quality images and document results accurately.
• Ensure safety and radiation protection standards are followed.
• Maintain equipment performance and report issues promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care team for timely patient care.
