Job summary

Carle Health seeks an experienced CT Technologist in San Antonio, TX to perform CT procedures, manage contrast administration, and ensure patient safety. The role includes participation in training and potential cross-training in related modalities. A strong focus on image quality and adherence to department protocols is required.

You will collaborate with radiologists and staff to deliver accurate studies while maintaining safety standards and efficient patient flow in a high-volume department.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or Radiologic Technology program is required.
• Certification as Radiologic Technologist preferred; ARRT CT is expected or pursued.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures with multiplanar reformats and 3D renders.
• Administers IV/oral/rectal contrast and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Maintains patient safety and assists in training staff.
• Reviews orders and patient history to ensure appropriate imaging.
• Operates and maintains imaging equipment and PACS; documents exams.
