Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• New York State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist required.
• ARRT registration required.
• Minimum of 1 year experience performing radiologic exams.
• BLS through the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for exams and explains procedures in lay terms.
• Performs x-ray exams per standards and SOPs; positions patients and adjusts equipment.
• Markets and labels images; ensures correct left/right labeling and dating.
• Maintains documentation and daily logs; performs related duties as required.
