Job summary

Providence St. Mary Medical Center Apple Valley, CA seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans under the direction of the Department Director and with the Lead Technologist, collaborating closely with radiologists and staff.

Emphasis on patient-centered care, safety, and quality improvement. Qualified candidates will have ARRT CT within 1 year, ARRT Radiography, California Radiologic Technologist, BLS, and hospital imaging experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist school or program.
• California Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• BLS from American Heart Association upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• ARRT CT certification within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging procedures according to department standards.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients, families, the public, and the medical staff.
• Participate in quality control, performance improvement, and organizational improvement activities.
• Serve as a clinical and technical resource to other technologists and to the radiologists.
• Participate in call schedule and adapt shifts to meet staffing needs.
