Job summary

Sanford Health in Iron Mountain, MI seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans, produce high-quality images, and provide compassionate patient care. You will interact with patients, physicians, and staff, and may perform mobile imaging and related procedures as needed.

Requirements include AMA JCERT accredited Radiologic Technology training and ARRT certification at hire; CT training preferred, with licensure requirements varying by state. EEO/AA employer; drug screen required.

Qualifications

• AMA JCERT accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• CT training or experience preferred.
• ARRT certification required at the time of hire.
• CT certification within two years preferred per DICOE/ACR accreditation.
• ND licensure required if working in North Dakota.
• Iowa permit to practice required if working in IA.
• BLS and IV certification within six weeks of employment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT scans and produce quality exam images.
• Exercise professional judgment during procedures and ensure patient care.
• Interact with patients, physicians, family members and staff.
• Operate CT equipment and learn/use new technologies.
• May perform mobile imaging, EKG, cardiac monitor placement, and DEXA procedures.
• Work across multiple sites with on-call rotation as needed.
