Qualifications

• Licensed by the State of California in Radiology and Fluoroscopy.
• The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Venipuncture certification preferred; two years of CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT imaging scans on patients and coordinates patient flow and the activities of the scanner.
• Performs all diagnostic CT procedures to include head, spine, abdomen, extremities per departmental protocols.
• Practices radiation safety at all times for self and the patient.
• Demonstrates competency and proficiency with CT equipment.
