Job summary

Charlotte Eye Ear Nose & Throat Associates, P.A. (CEENTA) is seeking a CT technologist to perform CT scans and fluoroscopic C-arm procedures. The role includes patient education, quality assurance, and archiving images for cases.

Responsibilities also cover scheduling, insurance verification, prior authorizations, and maintaining OSHA and infection control standards. On-site work is required, with a PRN/as-needed schedule and a typical daily imaging load.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and radiology technology program completion.
• ARRT CT certification and BLS required.
• 1 year CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and fluoroscopic C-arm to acquire diagnostic images per protocol.
• Submit studies to radiologists for interpretation.
• Educate patients about radiology procedures and contrast risks.
• Perform QA testing and report image-deficiency issues.
• Archive images and burn CDs for surgical cases.
• Schedule radiology appointments and follow-ups.
• Verify insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations.
• Comply with OSHA and infection control standards.
• Meet physical/mental demands; on-site work required.
