Job summary

CHI St. Vincent, part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a CT Tech to help capture diagnostic images for Radiologists. You will create cross-section images of the skeleton, tissues, and organs, and work directly with patients to support their experience.

Knowledge of imaging workflow, patient positioning, and producing clear results for timely diagnosis is essential. You will follow sterile techniques and maintain equipment to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Military program equivalent recognized by JRCERT.
• Registry eligible or ARRT Registered Radiographic Technologist certified.
• Basic Life Support (CPR) certification.
• ARRT Radiography certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic procedures such as CT, MRI, interventional radiology, mammography, sonography, ultrasound, nuclear medicine and PET.
• Ensure accurate imaging technique for proper patient positioning according to the imaging order.
• Maintain sterile technique and safety practices for patients and staff.
• Troubleshoot and calibrate radiology equipment to prevent failures.
