Job summary

CHRISTUS Health in Louisiana seeks a part‑time CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced CT imaging, support peers, and help maintain efficient patient flow. You may work across shifts and campuses, troubleshoot issues, and participate in QA, safety, and ongoing education within licensure scope.

The role requires radiology tech education, at least 1 year CT experience preferred, basic computer skills, and state licensure.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
• Basic computer experience required.
• State licensure: Louisiana LRT (R/N/F) by LSRTBE or Texas MRT by TMB; BLS required.

• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to enhance physician satisfaction.
• Ensures patient confidentiality and appropriate handling of sensitive information.
• Performs examinations to support patient throughput within licensure scope; troubleshoots equipment issues and reports to the Manager/Director.
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored in PACS; follows PACS downtime procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
