Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide quality diagnostic imaging and related procedures while ensuring radiation safety and high standards of patient care.

The role requires graduation from an accredited Radiologic Technology program or Nuclear Medicine Technology program, active BLS, and ARRT or NMTCB certification. Relevant experience is not required. All duties are performed in accordance with Baptist Health policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Current AHA BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
• ARRT certification (R) and ARRT certification (CT) or NMTCB in CT within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Exersises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complimentary to quality care.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Complies with all state and federal regulations applicable to each modality.
• Adheres to Baptist Health mission statements and strategic imperatives.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Provides instructions that achieve patient cooperation and desired results.
• Performs proper patient identification, acquires patient’s clinical history, and ensures information is accurately documented.
• Positions patient, equipment, and manipulates technical factors to achieve high quality images for interpretation.
• Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality, proper annotation, and patient identification.
