Job summary

West Lafayette Medical Center, part of Franciscan Alliance, is seeking a CT Technologist to operate CT equipment, obtain high-quality cross-sectional images, and assist in training staff and students. The role emphasizes safety, patient comfort, and accurate documentation in EMR/PACS.

Qualifications

• Preferred Associate’s Degree in Radiology
• Required Certificate in Radiology
• 2 years Radiology Preferred
• Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
• Radiography (ARRT-R) - ARRT Indiana within 180 days
• Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) - ARRT within 1 year

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images
• Assist in training students and technologists
• Perform venous punctures using contrast media
• Maintain ALARA radiation safety practices
• Review and update patient documentation in EMR and PACS
• Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and procedures
• Complete all CT exams and procedures with optimal image quality
