Job summary

West Lafayette Medical Center, part of Franciscan Alliance, Inc., seeks an Imaging Technologist I to perform radiographic procedures and collaborate with physicians to ensure high quality images. Qualified candidates hold an Associate’s Degree in Radiology or equivalent, a valid radiology certificate, BLS, and appropriate licenses; travel is up to 20% as needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred credential set includes an ARRT-R license and state-specific radiography licensure.
• BLS certification required for patient safety and emergency readiness.
• Licensing and permits must be current to perform radiographic procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and render quality images for diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians to determine protocol and patient care needs.
• Assist training of students and technologists; may perform injections.
• Ensure safety, timeliness, accuracy, and patient comfort during procedures.

Associate’s Degree in Radiology

BLS - American Heart Association

Radiology Student Permit

State Radiographer Operator License

ARRT-R Indiana within 180 days
