Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technologist to join our imaging team on a full-time day shift. You will perform CT exams with precision, ensure patient safety, and maintain high diagnostic quality under radiologist protocols.

Ideal candidates hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT Radiography and CT credentials (or CT eligibility), NM radiography license, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT Radiography required.
• ARRT CT or CT eligible required.
• NM license in Radiography required.
• NM license in CT or CT Provisional required.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures patient examinations are performed accurately and timely; not to exceed 30 minutes; provide proper patient positioning, entries and filming.
• Performs nuclear medicine scans according to established protocols and administers radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
• Produces high quality diagnostic images, maintains exam accuracy (views, labeling, dose, positioning, history, shielding).
• Maintains knowledge of equipment performance; reports malfunctions to supervisor.
• Demonstrates ability to educate patients about nuclear medicine procedures.
• Keeps up with current imaging techniques and seeks to improve diagnostic quality and efficiency.
• Follows hospital policies, infection control, and safety guidelines.
