Job summary

Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM, is seeking a Cat Scan (CT) Technologist for a full-time day shift to join the radiology team. You will perform CT exams, ensure accurate patient positioning, and adhere to safety protocols while providing patient education and quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT Radiography required; CT eligibility required.
• NM radiography license required; CT license or provisional required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate, timely CT examinations (not to exceed 30 minutes) with proper patient positioning.
• Perform nuclear medicine scans per established protocols; administer radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images with attention to labeling, dose, and shielding; minimize patient exposure.
• Maintain equipment performance and report malfunctions; communicate supply/equipment issues.
• Provide patient education related to diagnostic nuclear medicine procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of imaging techniques and seek improvements in quality and efficiency.
