The role requires knowledge of CT procedures, radiation safety, and patient communication, with ARRT-CT preferred and ARRT RT (R) certification. This is a facility-wide position emphasizing compassionate care and ALARA practices.

Qualifications

• Must follow infection control standards and PPE usage.
• Accurate documentation in EMR/PACS systems.
• Able to explain exam procedures to patients.
• Ensure ALARA principles and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and protocols.
• Review patient history to confirm exam appropriateness.
• Prepare and administer IV contrast material with monitoring.
• Position patients for safety and comfort; maintain workflow.
