CT Technologist (CT Tech) - West Hospital

Join our team as a CT Technologist (CT Tech) at Mercy Health West Hospital. This is a Part-Time position with no call required, offering a sign-on bonus up to $10,000.

Job Summary

The CT Technologist provides direct patient care by performing diagnostic imaging using CT scanning equipment. They assist in diagnosing and treating patients by producing diagnostic CT scans.

Essential Functions

• Verify all pertinent patient and procedural data.
• Perform computed tomography procedures.
• Properly position and immobilize patients on CT scanning cradles.
• Make radiation exposures by energizing the scanner.
• Administer intravenous injections and oral, rectal, and IV radiographic contrast agents as per procedures.
• Assist radiologists with biopsies and drainage procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of all CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participate in on-call rotations and timeouts as required.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree from an ARRT accredited institute (preferred)

Licensure/Certification:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association (required)
• ARRT registration (preferred, or must obtain within 2 years)
• Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred)
• State licensure (preferred)

Experience:

• 1 year of experience as a CT or Rad Tech (preferred)
• Experience with EPIC EHR and PACS systems (preferred)
