Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT scan procedures under supervision to aid diagnosis and treatment. The role supports the Imaging Services team in delivering high-quality patient care.

The ideal candidate has AMA approved Radiology Technology education, Texas Radiologic Technologist license, and current BLS and ARRT certification, with a commitment to accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist License required upon hire.
• BLS certification required upon hire from American Heart Association.
• ARRT registration required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT Scan procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Support imaging services workflow and ensure patient safety during CT exams.

Job description

Under the direct supervision of the CT Supervisor and the general supervision of the Director of Imaging Services, performs CT Scan procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injuries.

Required Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training:Satisfactory completion of an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology.
• Upon hire: Texas General Medical Radiologic Technologist License.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.
• Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
• 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
