Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join the CT Scan Department at Oakleaf, Jacksonville, FL. This part-time weekends role runs Saturday–Sunday 9:00am–9:30pm with call and holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include operating GE CT equipment, preparing patients, administering IV contrast, and ensuring regulatory compliance. ARRT (R) and CRT are required, BLS is required, and CT certification must be completed within 12 months of hire.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years radiology experience.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist ARRT (R) required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• If hired, must pass ARRT Computed Tomography certification within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality CT procedures per established protocols.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vitals and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.

CT Technologist Position

Baptist Health is seeking a CT Technologist to join our CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Oakleaf in Jacksonville, Florida. This is a Part-Time Weekends opportunity working Saturday-Sunday 9:00am-9:30pm. Call and holiday rotation included.

At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment. Additional responsibilities of our CT technologists include operating and calibrating of GE equipment, preparing patients for their procedures which include administering IV contrast & patient positioning, providing clear explanations & education about the process, and ensuring the compliance with all regulatory standards.

CT Technologist Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions

Experience Requirements

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience
• Preferred Experience working in a hospital setting
• Preferred Customer Service Experience

Education & Credential Requirements

• Vocational School
• Registered Technologist in Radiography ARRT (R) Required
• Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• If hired, must pass certification in Computed Tomography from the ARRT within 12 months of hire date.
