Job summary

Baptist Health seeks a CT Technologist for the CT Scan Department at Baptist ED Silverleaf in St. Augustine, FL. Part-Time Nights, shifts 6:30pm-7:00am, with on-call/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities include operating GE CT equipment, patient prep, education, and documentation in a collaborative radiology team. Required are Vocational School training with ARRT (R) and CRT, BLS, and 1–2 years radiology experience; preferred are hospital setting and customer service background.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years Radiology Experience Preferred.
• Customer Service Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performing high quality (CT) procedures in accordance to established protocols and guidelines.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and comfort during exams.
• Operate CT equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
• Collaborate with radiologists to provide optimal imaging results.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures.
• Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety standards.
• Educate patients on the CT process and answer any patient questions.

This is a Part-Time Nights position working shifts of 6:30pm-7:00am, with flexible scheduling. Participation in the on-call and holiday rotation is required.At Baptist, our CT Technologists are dedicated to delivering high quality imaging services, ensure both the comfort and safety of patients, and will thrive in a collaborative environment.
