Qualifications

• Requires an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology and current state licensure as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as RT with interest in CT cross-training.
• Strong knowledge of radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.
• Proficient in medical terminology and human anatomy for accurate imaging and reporting.
• Excellent communication and professional interaction with patients and healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans according to established protocols and physician orders.
• Ensure patient safety by adhering to radiation safety practices and ALARA principles.
• Position patients correctly and provide clear instructions during examinations.
• Operate and maintain CT equipment, reporting any malfunctions promptly.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare professionals to optimize image quality.

• Assist in development and implementation of new CT protocols.
