Job summary

RadNet in the Indianapolis area seeks a CT Technologist to perform high-quality CT exams across multiple local sites, focusing on patient care, safety, and clear communication with patients and physicians.

You will float to locations in the area, ensure patient comfort, administer contrast safely, and uphold HIPAA and facility policies. ARRT certification and state licensure are required, with BLS per state rules; one year of imaging experience preferred.

Qualifications

• State licensure and ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) certification required.
• BLS certification may be required by state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or problems and act.
• Administer contrast as needed, safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through the exam and answer questions about procedures.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient health information and on-site medications.
• Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers and respect boundaries.
• Demonstrate cooperative relationships with the care team.
