Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Hospital in Georgia seeks a CT Technologist to deliver high-quality imaging and a supportive patient experience. You will perform CT procedures, ensure diagnostic image quality, and follow ALARA principles while working within a collaborative care team.

Required: ARRT CT and Radiography credentials, BLS, and at least 1 year radiology experience. Join a team that supports professional growth and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography).
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) – American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures per department guidelines to capture diagnostic quality images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and infection control for rooms and equipment.
• Obtain clinical history and verify patient IDs before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety during the visit.
• Document studies accurately in RIS/PACS and finalize exams.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Support department flow and keep areas stocked and compliant.
