Job summary

Bon Secours seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT scans and provide direct patient care with compassionate service. The role involves positioning, use of contrast, and collaboration with radiologists in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate should have ARRT certification, BLS, CT registration, and prefer 1 year of CT/Rad Tech experience. On-call rotation is required, with Epic EHR and PACS familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited institute (preferred).
• BLS Basic Life Support – American Heart Association (required).
• Certification and Registration with ARRT in Diagnostic Radiology (required).
• Advanced modality registration in CT, ARRT (preferred, or must obtain within 1 year).
• State licensure (preferred, unless required by state).
• 1 year of CT or radiologic technologist experience (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Properly positions patients and immobilizes them to obtain desired images.
• Administers contrast agents as ordered for procedures.
• Maintains radiation safety and follows policy during image acquisition.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies, drainage procedures and related tasks.
• Maintains CT IT systems, including Radiant and PACS.
• Participates in on-call rotation as required.
