• REQUIRED: License or certification in RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES
• Shift: Mon-Fri 1pm-930pm
• No Call!!
• Participates in department or hospital safety/quality process improvements and initiatives.
• Leads the team in improving patient experience and/or employee engagement.
• Serves as clinical resource expert for technologists & liaison between the team and supervisor.
• $$ Evening Shift Differential $$
• $$ 5% Differential on top of base rate for CT certification $$

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose:

Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (MRI, CT, IVR, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, including quality control. Assists staff technologists with patient care and imaging issues, delegates tasks, and assumes supervisory responsibilities in their absence. Mentors students and new employees, providing ongoing guidance to advanced modality technologists and senior staff.

Responsibilities:

• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, including on-call and portable exams.
• Oversees shift operations, manages workflow, and adjusts priorities as needed.
• Serves as clinical resource and expert, assisting with difficult exams and mentoring.
• Acts as clinical liaison between team and supervisor, communicates effectively, and maintains supplies.

Minimum Requirements

Education: Associate or Trade School Equivalent

Experience: 2-5 years

Supervisor Experience: None required

Licenses & Certifications: IEMA (Illinois only, excluding MRI), RTR, CT, MR, M, BD, CI, VI, RCIS, RCES

Preferred Requirements

Experience: 5-10 years

Licenses & Certifications: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
