Job summary

Hartford HealthCare seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk‑in center in Norwalk, CT, coordinating with the referring physician to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. You will use appropriate exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while assessing patient age and condition to produce precise cross‑sectional images.

Qualified candidates will have licensure as Radiologic Technologists in Connecticut, ARRT CT certification within 12 months,

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT within 12 months of job entry date.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk‑in center following established protocols.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields based on patient age and diagnosis.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant in complex invasive CT exams using sterile technique.

Position Summary:

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment. You will participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date. Failure to meet this requirement will result in termination or transfer out of CT Technologist job.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
