Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Norwalk, CT seeks a CT Technologist to perform diagnostic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk‑in center, following established protocols to support radiologists in diagnosis and treatment.

Licensed Radiologic Technologist with CT ARRT certification (or eligible within 12 months) and graduation from an accredited Radiography program is required. We offer a sign‑on bonus, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for cross‑training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the CT Public Health authority or equivalent prior to hire date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment.
• Select correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields to produce technically accurate cross sectional images.
• Assist Radiologist or Physician's Assistant during complex invasive CT examinations using sterile technique.

Position Summary:

The CT Technologist performs diagnostic and therapeutic CT procedures at a dedicated cardiovascular walk-in center according to established protocols to assist the referring physician in diagnosis and treatment. Our CT Technologists perform computed tomography (CT) procedures by selecting correct exposure factors, algorithms and scan fields while utilizing the assessment of patient age and diagnosis to produce technically accurate cross sectional images to assist the radiologist in diagnosis and treatment. You will participate in complex invasive CT examinations by assisting the Radiologist or Physician's Assistant using proper sterile technique and producing CT images.

Qualifications

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Licensed Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Connecticut Department of Public Health obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• CT Advanced certification by ARRT required within 12 months of job entry date. Failure to meet this requirement will result in termination or transfer out of CT Technologist job.

Education:

• Graduate from an accredited Radiography program
