Job summary

Prisma Health’s Greer Memorial Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT imaging procedures under the direction of radiologists and department leadership. The role emphasizes patient care, protocol adherence, image quality, and safety, with weekend shifts noted.

Training is provided; no prior experience is required beyond certification. Required credentials include ARRT CT, CPR, and SCRQSA where applicable.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT Registered with CT certification and CPR.
• SCRQSA certification (Required for team members working in South Carolina)

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and procedures; communicate with nursing or physician teams.
• Position patients for CT studies and ensure proper protocols.
• Explain CT procedures and obtain complete history.
• Operate PACS system and verify studies before sending to archive.
• Maintain room readiness and supply inventory; respond to codes as needed.
• Perform warm-up calibrations and ensure imaging quality.
• Provide training to coworkers and students when needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
