Job summary

RadNet is seeking a dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in delivering high-quality radiologic imaging and patient care. You will perform CT exams, monitor patients, administer contrast safely, and guide patients through procedures while addressing questions and concerns.

Qualifications

• State licensure may be required: ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) per state rules.
• BLS certification may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality radiologic, CT exams on incoming patients.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognize discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action.
• Administer contrast as needed, safely and effectively.
• Guide patients through the procedure by explaining steps and answering questions.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Safeguard patient information and property in alignment with policies.
• Safeguard on-site medications per policy and legal requirements.
• Maintain professionalism toward patients and coworkers.
• Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during interactions.
• Interact diplomatically with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
• Establish and maintain cooperative working relationships.
