Job summary

Logan Health Shelby seeks a Radiologic Technologist specialized in CT to join our radiology team. You will perform CT examinations following department protocols and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.

Responsibilities include accurate imaging per ACR standards, end-of-day duties, stocking, and maintaining confidentiality. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in our 24/7 facility in Montana.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana Radiologic Technologist license required.
• ARRT RT registration required.
• Current BLS CPR certification required.
• CT registration by ARRT preferred or must be obtained within 18 months of hire.
• Strong organizational, detail-oriented, self-starter with teamwork and independent work ability.
• Commitment to teamwork and confidentiality.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, ability to communicate with diverse audiences.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn other software as needed.

Responsibilities

• Accurately performs CT examinations per department protocols.
• Adheres to ACR standards and ALARA in imaging.
• Completes beginning and end of day duties per procedures.
• Stocking and supply management for the assigned areas.
• Exhibits radiation and/or magnet safety as appropriate to the area.
• Reports malfunctions or errors per protocol and documents safety issues.
• Obtains patient history and reason for procedure; ensures proper scan.
• Evaluates information to ensure proper diagnosis.
• Communicates questions or concerns per protocol.
• Prepares patients for exams and demonstrates venipuncture techniques as needed.
• Reviews orders, prior exams, labs, and patient history per standards.
• Completes documentation related to exams; maintains regular attendance.
