Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, Montana, is seeking a CT Scan Technologist to join our fast-paced radiology team. This full-time position offers a 12-hour variable shift and opportunities to work with cutting-edge imaging technology.

You will perform CT exams, ensure patient safety, collaborate with specialists, and participate in continuing education. We value patient care, teamwork, and a commitment to ALARA principles and excellent service.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Montana state license required by law.
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• Current BLS CPR certification.
• CT certification by ARRT preferred (must be obtained within 18 months).

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate CT examinations, ensuring techniques align with ACR standards and ALARA principles.
• Manage patient history and ensure proper preparation for exams.
• Administer venipuncture techniques and maintain I-stat competencies.
• Communicate with patients, ensuring they understand the procedure and post-exam instructions.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and proper stock management in the department.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety concerns as per department protocols.
