Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. is seeking a CT Technologist to perform Computed Tomography exams and ensure image quality. Responsibilities include screening for contrast contraindications and coordinating with radiologists and staff for safe, accurate imaging.

The candidate should have a Texas MRT license, ARRT (R) certification, and ideally ARRT (C) in CT. BCLS certification and 2 years CT experience are preferred. Flexibility for variable shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved school in Radiologic Technology.
• Licensed MRT in the State of Texas.
• ARRT Certification (R) in Radiology; exemptions require Public Law 97-35.
• ARRT Certification (C) in Computed Tomography preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Computed Tomography exams as required.
• Conduct quality control procedures per manufacturer guidelines.
• Evaluate orders with radiologist and ensure correct exam.
• Screen patients for contraindications to oral or IV contrast.
• Interact with hospital staff regarding patient care and resolve conflicts.
• Work weekends, holidays, evenings, nights, overtime, and on-call as needed.
