Job summary

Northwestern Medicine Lake Forest Hospital is expanding its campus and seeking CT Technologists to operate Siemens Force scanners and deliver diagnostic imaging with the highest safety and quality standards. Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technologist Program with licensure where required.
• IEMA accreditation requirements must be satisfied for Illinois-based positions.
• BLS certification is required or in place at hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient safety throughout the imaging process from prep to post-care.
• Produces diagnostic-quality images using approved protocols and standards.
• Apply professional judgment within protocols to optimize image quality.
• Reviews images and initiates corrective action if diagnostic quality is not met.
• Operates imaging equipment and maintains readiness of the imaging room.
• Maintains accurate documentation in the medical record and PACS.
