Job summary

Adventist Health Sierra Vista in San Luis Obispo County provides outpatient CT imaging and related radiology services. The role requires ARRT certification, CA licensure, BLS, and preferred CT certification.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.
• ARRT RT (R)(CT) or RT (R) ARR T required.
• CA state Radiologic Tech license required.
• Advanced CT certification required in OR and HI; preferred in CA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Fluoroscopy license in CA required if operating fluoroscopy equipment.
• Venipuncture certification preferred in CA and OR.

Responsibilities

• Operates computed tomography (CT) equipment and produces cross-sectional images.
• Performs imaging procedures including CT, bone densitometry, general radiography and fluoroscopy.
• Maintains accurate records and ensures HIPAA compliance.
• Performs routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manages supply inventory.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
