Job summary

Duke Regional Hospital in Durham, NC seeks an experienced CT Technologist for PRN coverage. You will operate CT scanners, position patients, and assist radiologists with interventional procedures, while ensuring safety and quality.

Required: ARRT CT certification, BLS, graduate of an approved CT program, and a minimum of two years’ CT experience. You will maintain records, train new staff, and support departmental goals.

Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification and BLS required.
• Minimum of two years CT experience strongly preferred.
• Graduate from an approved CT program or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners, power injectors, and related equipment per safety procedures.
• Position patients for CT scans and use protective equipment as needed.
• Perform exams accurately per protocols and safety standards.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans and label/transmit images appropriately.
• Schedule procedures and assist with clerical tasks.
• Maintain patient records and provide education to students.
