Job summary

Vetted Solutions is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography and molecular imaging procedures, administer ionizing radiation, and assist licensed practitioners with diagnostic, therapeutic, and interventional tasks.

The role requires strong knowledge of imaging protocols, radiation safety, patient care, and ALARA principles. You will independently perform CT procedures, prepare patients, document history, and educate staff while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Certification by ARRT or NMTCB required upon hire; new graduates must obtain certification before starting.
• Advanced certification within 24 months for those hired after a specified date.
• Graduate of a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain correct patient identification, prepare patients, and document clinical history while ensuring confidentiality.
• Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles to maximize safety.
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access as prescribed, and evaluate image quality and positioning.
• Verify data transfer and archival, assist with interventional procedures, and educate students and healthcare providers.
• Perform CT procedures independently or with guidance, maintaining compliance with policies and regulations.
