Job summary

Bon Secours in Virginia is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and provide compassionate patient care. You will assist radiologists, operate CT equipment, and manage IV contrast while maintaining Radiant and PACS workflows.

Minimum one year of CT or radiology experience is preferred. ARRT registration for Diagnostic Radiology, BLS, and CT modality registration are required or expected within stated timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree from an ARRT-accredited program preferred.
• BLS certification preferred or required prior to direct patient care.
• ARRT Diagnostic Radiology registration required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT preferred or to be obtained within 1 year.
• State licensure preferred where required.

Responsibilities

• Ensures image quality and validates patient/procedural data.
• Performs computed tomography procedures.
• Executes required timeouts per policy.
• Properly positions and immobilizes patients for CT scans.
• Administers IV contrast and other agents as directed.
• Assists radiologists with procedures using sterile technique and manages CT IT systems (Radiant, PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotations.
