Job summary

Bon Secours Health System seeks a CT Technologist (Harmonized) at Southampton Medical Center in Franklin, Virginia. You will perform CT procedures, ensure image quality, and support radiologists with diagnostic imaging in a patient-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in radiologic technology (ARRT accredited) preferred.
• ARRT Certification in Diagnostic Radiology required.
• Advanced modality registration in CT or ARRT preferred, or must obtain within two years.

Responsibilities

• Assures image quality and confirms patient data are correct.
• Performs CT procedures.
• Performs timeout as required by policy.
• Positions and immobilizes patients for CT scanning.
• Acquires radiation exposures as ordered by physician.
• Performs IV injections and uses contrast agents as prescribed.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies and drainage using sterile techniques.
• Maintains knowledge of CT IT systems (Radiant and PACS).
• Participates in on-call rotation.
