Job summary

AdventHealth in Sebring, FL seeks a qualified CT technologist to perform high-quality CT examinations per orders and department protocols. You will review patient history, ensure safe IV contrast administration, and maintain rigorous documentation in EMR and PACS while upholding ALARA standards.

The role requires CT procedures knowledge, ARRT RT(R) certification, and BLS. Excellent communication with diverse patients and teamwork with radiologists are essential.

Qualifications

• Assoc. degree in radiologic technology or related field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred for advancement.
• High school or equivalent required.
• ARRT RT(R) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT-CT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations with attention to protocol and safety.
• Ensure accurate patient identification and consent.
• Document findings in EMR/PACS.
• Educate patients about exams and radiology procedures.
• Operate CT equipment safely for patients of all ages.
• Administer IV contrast following safety guidelines.
• Maintain radiation safety and ALARA principles.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care team.
• Maintain accurate workflow and minimize delays.
• Additional duties as assigned.
