Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under Radiology leadership. The role requires handling a variety of CT protocols, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with clinicians to ensure high-quality patient imaging.

Ideal candidates will have 1–2 years of CT experience in a hospital setting, ARRT certification, RT Fl license, and BLS; ACLS and advanced CT training are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED
• ARRT (R) or ARRT (T) - CT must obtain Advanced Certification within 18 months of hire
• RT Fl License - Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
• BLS certification
• One to two years CT experience in a hospital setting
• Advanced CT training or experience (preferred)
• ACLS (preferred)
• Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanners in the Radiology Department following department protocols.
• Apply Radiologic principles and imaging techniques for CT procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of CT equipment and safety guidelines.
• Ensure patient growth and development considerations in pediatric/adult CT procedures.
• Complete calibration and adhere to Quality Assurance guidelines for CT equipment.
• Follow radiation safety policies to protect patients and staff.
• Maintain patient safety and confidentiality per HIPAA; document appropriately.
