Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Florida is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures with knowledge of age-appropriate protocols and image optimization. Under the Radiologist and department leadership, you will work to deliver quality images while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of CT experience in a hospital, advanced CT training or experience, ACLS, and solid computer skills; ARRT CT certification with ongoing credentialing required within 18 months

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT certification (R) or ARRT (T) with CT certification; must obtain Advanced Certification within 18 months.
• RT Fl License and CRT certification.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to start IVs and administer contrast per department protocols.

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of all CT scanners in the Radiology Department.
• Apply radiologic principles and imaging techniques for CT procedures.
• Understand CT equipment operation and safety.
• Perform CT procedures considering age-related needs.
