Job summary

The University of Maryland Medical System seeks a CT Imaging Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT procedures across all locations, selecting accurate technical factors for each patient and applying dose‑reduction concepts to protect patients.

You will document patient care in electronic health records, ensure a safe work environment, monitor equipment and supplies, and support department performance improvement and staff training initiatives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certificate in radiologic technology from an approved program.
• No prior CT experience required; basic CT knowledge expected.
• ARRT certification in Radiography (R) and CT is required or preferred.
• Maryland licensure or eligibility to practice radiologic technology.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and specialized CT imaging procedures across all locations.
• Select accurate technical factors per patient and apply dose‑reduction practices.
• Document patient care activities in electronic health records.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and safe work environment; notify if repairs needed.
• Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and staff training.

Education

Associate degree or Certificate in radiologic technology

Bachelor degree in health sciences or related field
