Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a CT Technologist to join the Imaging Services team. You will operate state-of-the-art CT technology to produce high-quality diagnostic images while delivering exceptional patient care.

As part of a collaborative healthcare team, you will support accurate diagnoses, ensure patient safety, and maintain documentation. Registration and CT/MR/NM credentials are valued, with prior radiology experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Computed Tomography program.
• ARRT-R is required, with ARRT-CT or ARRT-MR or Nuclear Medicine certification as options.
• Prior clinical radiology experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, safety and quality imaging.
• Collaborative communicator in a team-oriented healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures and produce high-quality diagnostic images per orders and protocols.
• Monitor patient safety, comfort and condition; communicate concerns to the care team.
• Position patients and equipment to ensure accurate imaging and optimal image quality.
• Review records and orders, prioritize workflow, prepare equipment, and document in electronic systems.
• Inspect, test and maintain imaging equipment; report issues and ensure radiation safety compliance.
