Job summary

Bluebird Staffing is seeking a CT Technologist in Raleigh, NC to perform complex CT procedures and analyze patient imaging data. The role collaborates with Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiology teams to obtain diagnostic images for advanced treatment options.

The ideal candidate will assist radiologists with invasive CT techniques, optimize scan parameters to limit radiation, evaluate contraindications, and coordinate patient care before procedures.

Qualifications

• Two years of CT Technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts complex CT procedures and analyzes patient diagnostic data in collaboration with Trauma, Stroke, and Cardiology teams.
• Assists radiologist with high-risk invasive CT-related techniques and contributes to scan parameter adjustments to minimize radiation.
• Evaluates contraindications and coordinates care with care teams prior to patient arrival when possible.
• Performs CTA perfusion, Code IA/Stroke/Bat, Red/Yellow Trauma Series, ROSC, and Portable CT exams; trains CT Tech I team members on high-risk exams.

Education

Accredited educational program in Radiological Science with advanced registry in Computed Tomography

ARRT or NMTCB(CT) certification
