Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a CT Radiologic Technologist to perform routine and specialized CT procedures at an advanced skill level. The role involves administering contrast under supervision, coordinating cases, and ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related experience required.
• ARRT Certified CT or NMTCB CT upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT Scan radiology studies and explains procedures to patients.
• Administers intravenous contrast media under physician supervision; recognizes and treats reactions.
• Schedules cases coordinating with other exams.
• Positions and transfers patients, ensures comfort and safety.
• Maintains radiation safety standards and equipment documentation.
• Acts as on-call technologist and trains new staff.
• Performs Radiographer duties as needed and ensures proper PACS documentation.
• Maintains orderly work areas and manages record-keeping.
