Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography exams across multiple hospital sites in Columbus. You will work under the Imaging Supervisor/Manager to support diagnostic imaging quality and patient care.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, educating patients about procedures, and assisting with QA activities. Minimum qualifications include an Associate's degree, ARRT Radiography Certification, and Ohio Radiology License;

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• ARRT Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License are required.
• Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography is preferred.
• 0 years of relevant experience required; previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized tomographic exams/procedures for diagnostic purposes.
• Provide patient education regarding CT procedures.
• Assist in quality assessment activities for the division under supervision.

Education

Associate's Degree or equivalent education/experience

ARRT Radiography Certification

Ohio Department of Health Radiology License

Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography (preferred)

Location: New Inpatient Tower

Scope of Position

The Computed Tomography division encompasses stationary CT equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic exams/procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. Advanced Certification in Computed Tomography preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred.
