Job summary

The Ohio State University is seeking a CT Technologist for inpatient imaging at East Hospital (Tower 0397) within the Wexner Medical Center. You will perform computerized tomographic exams, educate patients, and participate in quality assessments under supervision of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Applicants should hold a current Radiography license with ARRT (R) certification and ODH licensure; CT experience is preferred and advanced CT registry is a plus.

Job Description

Scope of Position

The Computed Tomography division encompasses stationary CT equipment located in University Hospital, East Hospital, James Cancer Hospital and OSUWMC Ambulatory Imaging locations.

Position Summary

The CT Technologist performs computerized tomographic exams/procedures for the diagnosis/treatment of disease or injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Supervisor/Manager.

Minimum Qualifications

For Hire: Current Radiography license, ARRT (R) required. Current Radiography ODH license required. Previous CT Technologist experience is preferred. Advanced registry in Computed Tomography preferred.

Ongoing: Maintains registry & licensing status; meets mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
